Privacy policy

SI Factory handles personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy explains what we collect, why, where it goes, and the choices you have.

What we collect

  • Account and billing details: your name, business, ABN, address, email, phone number and company logo.
  • Work orders, photos, notes and completion records that you, your clients or your technicians send to SI JobAgent. These can include tenant and site contact names, phone numbers and site information.
  • Site contact names and signatures captured when a job is signed off.
  • Email correspondence about jobs, requests made through client portals, and emails we hold for you until you approve them.
  • Technician names and the times photos and job steps were recorded. We do not track technician location.
  • Basic technical information when you use our website or app, such as browser type and pages visited.

How we use it

  • To provide SI JobAgent: reading work orders and preparing job plans, checklists, messages and completion packs.
  • To set up and improve the client profiles in your account. Your data is never used to serve another business.
  • To reply to you, run pilots, take payment, send tax invoices and meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information. We send marketing emails only with consent, and every one has an unsubscribe link.

Automated processing

SI JobAgent uses AI to read documents and propose job plans, checklists and messages. These are drafts for a person in your business to review and approve. No decision about a person is made solely by AI, and no message is sent to a client without that approval.

Where it is stored and who processes it

Your account, job records and completion packs are stored in Australia, in Sydney. To provide the service, some information is processed by the providers below, some of them overseas. We take reasonable steps to make sure each one protects it.

We never see or store your full card details. If we add a provider, we will update this list first.

Security and retention

We protect information with access controls, encryption and logging. We keep it only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal requirements, such as keeping tax records for five years, then delete or de-identify it. Sample work orders emailed to us for a demo are deleted within 30 days.

If a data breach is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or make a complaint, by emailing hello@sifactory.au. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
